Yes. Downloading Zegicon, browsing listings, checking neighbourhoods and chatting with agents is free. Agents can also list properties and get verified for free.
Which areas does Zegicon cover?
You can explore any neighbourhood in all 36 states and the FCT. Popular searches include Lekki Phase 1, Ikeja GRA, Gwarinpa, GRA Phase 2 and Woji, but you can type in any area you’re considering.
How accurate are the AI area insights?
They’re generated by AI from general knowledge of each area, so treat them as a smart first briefing rather than a guarantee. Conditions can change street by street. Always confirm on your inspection, especially flooding, power and internet coverage.
How do agents get the blue tick?
Agents submit a government ID and a selfie from their dashboard, plus a CAC number if they’re a registered business. The Zegicon team reviews each application, usually within 24–48 hours, and the badge can be removed if reports against an agent are upheld.
What will I pay to secure a property?
Each listing shows an upfront cost breakdown: the rent, the agent fee, any caution fee (refundable at move-out) and legal fee, with an estimated total. Confirm the final amounts with the agent before you pay.
Can I offer my moving or home service on Zegicon?
Yes. If you run a moving, cleaning, painting, solar, plumbing, electrical or fumigation business, list your service in the app and people moving home can request quotes from you.
